We learned how to milk a goat.  It was so cool!
What a great experience for my kids!  Thanks McKenzie!

Clayton had a great time.  He LOVES animals!
Carrington taught everyone how to play spoons.  It was fun!
Clayton and Mariah played too, and they did great!
Girlies!
The goat likes to suck on people's finger........a little too slimey for me!

We took a trip to my sister Marcy's house last week.  I took a ton of pictures.  I loved taking pictures of the chickens, as you can tell.   :o)  We had a great time.  We went on a field trip, which I'll have to post about later. Ciao!

Anniversary

Today is our 13th wedding anniversary.  Warren drew this heart on the bathroom mirror for me after we had had a small spat.  I thought it was sweet.  :o)

Sen. Rand Paul Destroys Ms. Hogan and Department of Energy: Get Out of M...

I love Rand Paul!  He's brilliant!  It is pretty ironic that we can kill our babies (which I'm not for, of course), but we can't use the kind of light bulbs or toilets we want to use.

Camouflage Birthday Party

Clayton's birthday party was last Friday.  We went with a camouflage theme,  which turned out really cute.  I told the Moms to dress their boys in camo if they wanted to.  Carrington painted their faces with camo paint that we bought at a sporting goods store.  We also had army tatooes for the boys.  I asked the bakery at Publix to make his cake camouflage and then I put army themed candles on it.  It turned out really cute.  We bought army themed party stuff at a party supply store.  We rented the inflatable slide and they let us have it for most of the day.  It really came in handy with  9 energetic boys!  They had a blast on it and played ball on it as much as they slid on it.  After everyone went home, Clayton told me that it was the funnest day he had ever had.  :o)

Happy Birthday To My Boy!

Clayton will be 8 years old in the morning.  My does time fly!  He is such a joy to raise!  I can be in a bad or sad mood, and just being around Clayton will cheer me up.  Here are some random facts about Clayton:

Clayton loves animals. He has so much fun with his dog, Max.

He's an outdoor kind of guy and will play outside for hours.

He has a good sense of humor.  He makes us laugh a lot.

He is very affectionate.  He loves to snuggle up with Warren and I.

He loves to learn, especially anything to do with Science.

I love that he still wears his Superman cape.

He's a night owl and likes to stay up late.

He is inspired by stories of Christian heroes.

He is easy to please and easygoing.

When I am praying with my children, sometimes I will get down on my knees on the floor to show honor to God.  Clayton always immediately gets down on his knees too.  :o)

I talk to Clayton a lot about being a Godly man and how much this world needs mighty warriors  for Jesus.
That is my prayer for him.  Clayton's middle name is James after James Dobson, because I have always admired Dr. Dobson.  I know that God has big plans for Clayton.
Happy Birthday my precious boy!  We love you very much!

A Call to Anguish - David Wilkerson

This is such a great sermon!  It makes me sad, but he is so right!  Most of the time, I don't like "beat you over the head" sermons, but this one made such an impression on me.  We (the Church) need to wake up.  We are losing our kids to the world.  According to research, children are leaving the Church by a rate of 75% or more.  This is a really big deal!  We need to pray desperately for the salvation of our children.  We need to also pray fervently for the sin in this country.  We also need to take God seriously.  He's not our buddy.  He's the Creator of the universe.  Ok, I'm done with my soap box.  :o)
