We are listening to this book on CD right now. Jim Weiss is reading the story. His voices and accents are wonderful! The story begins in the middle of the American Revolution, which is one of my favorite time periods. My children are enjoying the story as much as I am. I love listening to classics with my kids. The main character, Nat, has many great character qualities that give all of us something to ponder and spark conversation.
