Royal Weddings and Tea Parties

I found this at Hobby Lobby for the occasion for only $5.  I thought it was really cute.
I know that Petite Fours are not English, but they're fancy, so I had to get them.  :o)
We used Carrington's tea set for our tea party....... Beatrix Potter.
Thank goodness Clayton had a friend to play with too!  He was definitely not into the wedding.
Gabrielle, Carrington, and Alex.  Isn't Gabrielle the cutest baby?
Leslie, Gabrielle, and Carrington
We took some pictures of our tv during the wedding.  We're dorks, I know, but I thought this one turned out great!
Such a beautiful wedding.......fit for a princess!

Carrington and I were so excited about watching the royal wedding on Friday!  We invited some friends to come over and watch it with us and have a tea party.  We drank English breakfast tea and had little sandwiches, mini quiche, spinach and artichoke dip, and fruit salad.  I loved everything about the wedding!  Westminster Abbey was so gorgeous!  The bride could not have been any prettier.  It was fun to watch such a fun historical event.

A Visit to the Country

Some male bonding time.  :o)
Dirty feet!
We learned how to milk a goat.  It was so cool!
What a great experience for my kids!  Thanks McKenzie!
One of the Mama goats.  She eats while she's being milked.
Cousins
Carrington riding Candy.
Cock-a-doodle-doo
McKenzie's baby goat

Clayton had a great time.  He LOVES animals!
Carrington taught everyone how to play spoons.  It was fun!
Clayton and Mariah played too, and they did great!
Girlies!
The goat likes to suck on people's finger........a little too slimey for me!

We took a trip to my sister Marcy's house last week.  I took a ton of pictures.  I loved taking pictures of the chickens, as you can tell.   :o)  We had a great time.  We went on a field trip, which I'll have to post about later. Ciao!

Anniversary

Today is our 13th wedding anniversary.  Warren drew this heart on the bathroom mirror for me after we had had a small spat.  I thought it was sweet.  :o)

Sen. Rand Paul Destroys Ms. Hogan and Department of Energy: Get Out of M...

I love Rand Paul!  He's brilliant!  It is pretty ironic that we can kill our babies (which I'm not for, of course), but we can't use the kind of light bulbs or toilets we want to use.

Camouflage Birthday Party

Clayton's birthday party was last Friday.  We went with a camouflage theme,  which turned out really cute.  I told the Moms to dress their boys in camo if they wanted to.  Carrington painted their faces with camo paint that we bought at a sporting goods store.  We also had army tatooes for the boys.  I asked the bakery at Publix to make his cake camouflage and then I put army themed candles on it.  It turned out really cute.  We bought army themed party stuff at a party supply store.  We rented the inflatable slide and they let us have it for most of the day.  It really came in handy with  9 energetic boys!  They had a blast on it and played ball on it as much as they slid on it.  After everyone went home, Clayton told me that it was the funnest day he had ever had.  :o)
